About California Proposition 65

California Proposition 65 entitles California consumers to special warnings for products that contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.  The warning identifies potential cancer or reproductive hazards but not the potential level of risk.  The warning is required even if the risk is very low.  We care about our customers’ safety and to help with your buying decision we provide the warning and specific information related to our products.

The  California Proposition 65 warning below is based on the vinyl utilized on chiropractic, medical, and massage tables and on support products such as bolsters.  Vinyl fabric is typically formulated with flame retardants to meet regulatory requirements for product flammability, but the flame retardant in vinyl is not readily available to migrate out of the product and exposure to the flame retardant should be very low.  Organic solvents are utilized during the manufacture of vinyl fabric and if there is any exposure that exposure would be expected to be very low.  Please contact us if you have additional questions.

Wires in electrical cords may contain lead and other chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm. No products sold by Pivotal should have exposed wiring and customers should discard any damaged cords with exposed wiring.

Drilling, sawing, sanding, or machining of wood products can expose you to wood dust, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer.  No product from Pivotal Health solutions should be drilled, sawed, sanded, or machined.  Contact Pivotal Health Solutions for assistance.
